How We Started
This is the brainchild of Demetri Mavroudes alongside his sister, mom and dad as helpers in effort to make the world a better place
ShareNCareHereNThere began with a simple idea from a child who noticed something adults often overlook: many of us have more than we need, while others have far less than we imagine.
After seeing toys, clothes, and shoes being thrown away even though they were still in good condition, Lil’ D asked a powerful question:
“Why can’t we give these to kids who don’t have any?”
That question grew into action.
He started by collecting his own gently used items, then asked family, neighbors, and classmates to join him. Soon, front porches filled with donations, and what began as a small act of kindness became a community movement.
With every bag of items given, we saw smiles, relief, and hope. Families who were struggling received toys, clothing, and essentials without cost or pressure. Children learned that generosity can come from anyone, at any age.
